Anju Karki, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow emeritus

Anju Karki earned her PhD degree from Purdue University, Indiana with a focus in elucidating the role of inflammation in pancreatic cancer progression using mouse models. She got her postdoctoral training from Boston Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts where she focused on studying tumor initiation and progression in pediatric hepatocellular carcinoma using CRISPR-Cas9 system in both cell culture and mouse model. Here, at cc-TDI, Anju’s primary research involves in better understanding an aggressive and devastating form of brain tumor called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
