Biomedical Engineer intern

Austin is a recent graduate of California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, concentrated in mechanical design and a Master of Science in the same field. During his graduate program, he focused on studying performance and optimization of lateral flow assays through computational modeling. He is currently working to assist in an ongoing medulloblastoma flow experiment here at cc-TDI, where he hopes to contribute some of his microfluidics background knowledge. Beyond academics and work, Austin enjoys hiking, cooking, music and spending time with his cats.
