Legacy Gift: giving forward

We are grateful to the family whose legacy gift made possible these studies, published online today.  To our knowledge, this is the first patient-derived xenograft of embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma in a parameningeal location.  This model is now publically available to all research laboratories here.    Collaborators include Drs. Malempati, Stenzel and Woltjer (OHSU), Neal Goodwin (Champions Oncology), Yan Yang, Pali Kaur, Susie Airhart and Dr. Carol Bult (Jackson Laboratory), and Jody Hooper (Johns Hopkins).    We thank the Nylund Family, the Rally Foundation and  Braver, Stronger, Smarter Fighting Childhood Cancer Foundation for support of this model development.
