We are so grateful for the generous support from the Kyla McCullough Gift Fund that enabled us to secure a second tissue culture hood! Tissue and cell culture is a major part of our work, so the sterile tissue culture hood is probably one of the most important pieces of equipment in the lab. Since only two people can use the tissue culture hood at one time, having a second TC hood enables twice as many people do their work in a sterile environment, and is especially important when we are doing time sensitive experiments that need attention at specific times.
