We have a career-building opening for a full-time operations director at our 501c3 non-profit biotech, whose mission is to speed scientific discovery to the start of clinical trials for children with cancer.The team member responsibilities of this vital role include (but are not limited to) operational functions such as project management, strategic planning, budget development, purchasing, invoicing, payroll and 401k plan management. Additional key roles include managing sublease space and facilities to grow Oregon’s second-ever biotech incubator hub, as well as running an education program of Nanocourses for families whose lives have been touched by cancer.Requirements are: Bachelor’s degree, strong communication skills and extreme attention to detail. External affairs/social media experience, a project management certificate and experience with Quickbooks/basic bookkeeping are a plus. Candidates with experience in non-profit or office management, or experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical fields are also encouraged to apply.
